Why a professional coach session will cost you?

Professional coaching cost on average 100-200 USD per hour. The optimal package would be 10 sessions, minimum what will bring you the change and results – 5-6 sessions. Let me invite you behind the scenes of the coaching business and show why the professional coaching would cost you as it costs and would make you think what’s the catch when you are offered a super low price for coaching.

Here’s the math:

– Professional coaches are constantly attending professional events (100-400 USD) to exchange their experience and cross-pollinate;

– Educational seminars (100 USD+) to learn more modern techniques, to practice new things in a safe environment among other coaches and be sure that the client will get the best and already tested ways of work;

– Passing professional tests (100-600 USD) to confirm their level by the international federations, who guarantee the quality of the coach, their integrity, ethics and other important competencies;

– Attend individual and group mentorings and supervisions (50-250 USD) per 3 months, depending on the intensity of the coaching practice;

As you see, to be a professional coach, affiliated with international associations is not cheap or easy, but that all guarantees our clients the fact, that professional coaches won’t be judgemental or will break the confidentiality. Will not create a psychological transfer and put the client in the position the coaching client should never be. Will not be using any pushing or ordering techniques, any balance wheel or taro cards. [No judging, these are possible supplements of the client and a coach are both in favour, but the pure coaching is done according to 8 competencies, nothing else].

– The last but not the least what forms the coaching price is TIME. Time of the coach which they spend while studying, while reading new articles, books, practicing active listening, acceptance, love, passing tests and certifications. It is not given us by default and many might not even experience it in their whole life. Ever.

In coaching, however, clients, sometimes for the first time in their life, are experience full acceptance, which allows them to open up, unleash their true potential and become the better version of themselves, making ambitions plans and reaching them.

There’s also other tech fees for running an official business, let’s call them overhead and label as the unavoidable evil, such as paid zoom, taxes, office rent, headset, mic, light and a backdrop if working remotely… I’m not counting these here, but you also need to know that the cost is included 😉
